favorite newspaper

Front pages of the world

The name of my favorite newspaper front page is Opelika-Auburn NewsOpelika, Ala.

What city and state is the paper from?Opelika-Auburn News, published in Opelika, Alabama USA

What is your favorite headline from that newspaper? Why are you interested in it?slam dunked because i love basketball and the picture caught my attention because its a dunk tank instead of a basketball court.

How many stories are on the front page of your favorite? 4

What do you notice that all newspaper front pages have in common? all of them have a byline, and are in paragraph form along with a picture that relates to their story, a lot of them have at least one common news topic(nation wide). They all have 3-4 headlines.

What are things that vary (or are different) on the front pages of different newspapers? The layouts are set up differently, some are in a column and some are spread out horizontally. some photos are really small with a lot of writing and some are big with less writing. some have different fonts and start with a huge letter at the first word. some have bullets in their writings and of course different stories because its news that happens in their own country.

My favorite cover

Vanity Fair, January 2012: "Lady Gaga"

This Magazine shows bright colors as the main image. The Masthead is white making the title pop out with the red. The model is Singer lady gaga. Lady gaga is very different meaning she has a unique style so she's dressed in this red outfit. There is major contrast in the photo because you can see shadows. There is no barcode on the third left.  The lighting is dim. on the top it says japan so this was the style in Japan.

the most interesting sports story of the year was anderson silva because  nobody expected this to happen. he broke his leg, and the fight ended. this was a very popular story for a long time and its still shocking till this day, it looks very painful.

the most influencial person of 2013 is jay z.  i chose jay z because although he had a bad life growing up, he completely changed his life around, he created many things and is involved in a lot. i give him props.

nelson mandela's death was the most important story of the year. it was important because he made a big impact in the world. he was the president of  south africa. he also won the nobel peace prize.

I choose this song because i never get tired of hearing this song. i love their voices and what the whole song is about. this song is in every technology device i have. i would love to go see them in a concert because the banjos are amazing. it was the best song for 2013 because it played everywhere and I've never met anybody who didn't like this song other than the rude comments on youtube.

i choose this movie because this movie was so interesting to watch. the whole movie was in space and i saw it in 3d so that made it even better. it was emotional and full of action. this movie gave me motivation and hope. it was the best movie of the year because i saw it with my boyfriend and it was i guess you can say our first date. this movie is 5 stars..

This photo shows joyful people who are having a pillow fight celebrating.
this photo is taken from fast shutter speed because to catches the tiny fuzzes.
this photo is focused in the center. and its bright in the middle and gets dim along the bottom edges.

.
This photo is amazing, it shows rain falling down and people inside it.  this creates a mood of excitement
they use simplicity in this photo because of the angel.
the light is mainly in the middle and the image is sharp and gets blacker as it gets outter.
this image is very frightful, because its  looking down from a far distance.
this photo shows the bottom of the feet and whats user neath it.  doesn't show the whole body though so its rule of thirds.
this photo is sharp until it gets to the bottom  where the water is at and its very bright.
